
Documents required to buy and sell Gold & Silver bullions
Because bullion is considered as an investment product, we require you to provide several documents to sell you gold bars and coins.

Why do I need to provide these documents?
We require these documents solely for the purposes of preventing money laundering or terrorist financing (see Regulation 41, paragraph 3 of the Money laundering and Terrorist Financing Regulations)
This personal data is not sold or used for any re marketing purpose.
Which documents do I need to provide?
Copy of a Photo ID

A valid passport or driving license.

Less than 3 months old
We accept one of the following utility bill:
- Electricity Bill
- Gas bill
- Landline Telephone Bill
- Water bill
- Broadband bill
- Council Tax Bill
Copy of a recent Bank Statement

All we need to see is the Bank account holder Name, Address, Account Number, and Sort Code
We do not require to see any transfers or balances. Please feel free to blank out.
We do not accept screenshots of your online banking account. We do need to receive a bank statement, mentioning a date.
You can download a recent bank statement in pdf or JPEG format via your online banking screen.
How to send my documents?
There are 4 simple ways for you to send us your documents.
Photo or Scan
(Easiest way)
Take a photo or scan each documents, and send them to us by email at info@gerrardsbullion.com.
Send by Post
We are also happy to receive your documents by post if you prefer. You can send to our London office at the following address

If you live near London, you can also come directly to our office in Hatton Garden (London, EC1N 8LE) to deliver your documents in person to a member of our team.
Include in your parcel
(Selling only)
If you are selling and sending your scrap or coins to us by post, you can include the copy of your documents with your parcel.
