The American Buffalo is a pure 24 carat gold coin, that contains exactly 31.1035 grams of pure gold. The U.S Mint produces this coin since 2006. It is America’s first ever one ounce 24-carat gold coin.
The design of the coin display a native American Indian. It comes from the chieftains Iron Tail (Sioux), Big Tree (Kiowa) and Two Moons (Cheyenne).
